Portable/Fixed Electrical Equipment Testing (Pat Testing)
Inspection and testing for the home and workplace to meet the requirements of:
- Health and Safety At Work Act 1974

- Provision and Use Of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
- Electricity At Work Regulations 1989
We can carry out Inspection and Testing for both fixed and portable
equipment to the current IEE code of practice. Using the latest state of
the art appliance testers, we will issue a user-friendly, detailed professional
report complete with equipment labelling. Re-test reminders are automatically
sent when the next re-test is due.
Minor repairs such as loose plug top connections and the replacement of incorrect
fuses are carried out there and then Free of Charge so avoiding a re-test visit.
Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 , Regulation 4(2), requires that;
"As may be necessary to prevent danger, all systems shall be maintained
so as to prevent danger". This often misunderstood statement applies to
fixed electrical installations as well as appliances.

Charges are subject to VAT at current rates.
Minor repairs and fuse replacement are included within the charges above.
